Update April 20, 2020
To maintain compliance with the orders from the Governor's Office and University directives, we are currently cancelling events to June 15th. However, this date may change as new guidance comes out from these offices. We are actively working to reschedule events as circumstances allow. Please contact your event planner with any questions.
As we all know there are many steps being taken throughout the world to help contain/reduce the COVID-19 virus. As part of the University's response to COVID-19, the Perkins Conference Center will be temporarily closing, effective Thursday, March 12th. As a facility that hundreds of people visit weekly and the nature of use, the increased risk for transmission of COVID-19 is of great concern. The Perkins Conference Center is dedicated to the health and safety of all members, and we are in support of this decision.
Over the coming of days, we will be providing additional information. When we are able, we will send out another update.

As part of the Office of Engagement, Regional Stewardship, and Government Relations, Conferencing & Events provides assistance with planning, organizing, and facilitating a variety of conferences and events across EKU's campus. Housed in the Carl D. Perkins Building on the easily accessible South-side of the Richmond campus, the department of Conferencing & Events provides convenience, enrichment and support to educational, corporate and non-profit organizations considering venues for meeting space or a myriad of special events year round.
